Wade had been playing since 1964 and teaching since 1967. He studied music at Rock Valley and Rockford Colleges in the early '70s. In the '70s and '80s he toured extensively throughout the country before relocating to LA. While there, he played with Steve Perry's guitarist, Billy Steele. Wade and Billy not only had their own band - Bridge 22 - they also did studio work with numerous LA artists - W.A.S.P. and Steve Vai. Wade has had endorsement deals with Marshall and Carvin Amps. Since returning to the Midwest in the '90s, Wade has performed with several bands, including Bullet and Shifty Shafer. During his career he has taught continuously - first privately and now, exclusively at Voigt Music Center.
Wade is available for
lessons in our Beloit location. He teaches Monday through Friday evenings for
